SCIPIO TWP, IN : One dead in crash in LaPorte County on Thursday, 26th October 2023

One person is dead after a crash that happened Thursday morning in LaPorte County.

Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of U-S 6 and C-R 425 West.

Police say 70-year-old Donald Miles had been traveling east on U-S 6.

Upon approaching C-R 425 West, Miles slowed and prepared to turn left but failed to yield to a vehicle traveling west on U.S. 6.
