Portland ,OR :Driver stuck under tree in fiery crash along Interstate Ave.on Tuesday morning ,August 18th 2015

Firefighters had to cut a driver free Tuesday morning after an SUV crashed into a tree and caught fire in North Portland.

Emergency crews were called out around 1:30AM Tuesday to the crash on Interstate Avenue just north of the Tillamook Street intersection.

Firefighters found the driver outside of the burning vehicle, trapped under the tree. They had to cut the tree to get the driver loose.

That person was taken to the hospital; no word on their condition.
