Grand Haven,MI : No injuries in crash that caused US 31 traffic jam on March, Monday 26th 2018
Traffic heading south on U.S. 31 was backed up for about an hour after a two-vehicle crash north of VanWagoner Road on Monday morning, but police said no one was hurt in the incident.
The crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m.
An Ottawa County resident was driving south on the highway when his car drifted off the road and hit a car parked on the shoulder, said state police trooper James Luttrull. There was nobody in or around the parked car, and the driver of the southbound vehicle was not injured, Luttrull said.
The parked car was pushed off the road and both vehicles were damaged to the extent that they were not drivable, the trooper said. The southbound car ended up in a traffic lane.
