El Campo,TX : Two die in head-on collision on March, Monday 26th 2018

A Wharton man and one from Pearland were killed in a head-on collision during the early morning hours Monday on U.S. 59 near Hungerford.

No one yet knows why Brian Sheppard, 47, of Wharton had his northbound 2005 Dodge pickup in the southbound lanes, Department of Public Safety Sgt. Stephen Woodard told the Leader-News, adding the roughly 3:30 a.m. collision was still under investigation.
