Brooklyn Heights,OH : One woman killed, another hurt in crash on I-480 in Brooklyn Heights on November, Friday 10th 2017

One woman was killed and another was hurt early Friday in a crash on Interstate 480 in Brooklyn Heights, the State Highway Patrol said.

A 2004 Honda Accord was eastbound just after 12:30 a.m. when it missed a turn, went off the right side of the highway and hit a curb, the Highway Patrol said in a news release.

The car then drove back onto the highway but went across all four lanes, hit a median and overturned, the Highway Patrol said.

A 25-year-old driver died after paramedics took her to MetroHealth, the Highway Patrol said. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office has not yet released the woman's identity.

A 20-year-old passenger was taken to University Hospitals, where she was treated for her injuries, the Highway Patrol said.

No one else was injured in the crash, the Highway Patrol said.
