Toledo ,OH :Man jumps out of ambulance after crashing truck into pole on Wednesday morning ,September 2nd 2015

A man is facing charges after police say he crashed his truck while driving intoxicated in south Toledo Wednesday morning.

The crash happened in the 2000 block of Airport Highway.

We're told the driver went off the road and crashed straight into a pole before running away on foot. Police found the man several blocks away and transported him to the hospital.

Police say the man jumped out of the ambulance while on the way to the hospital. He was caught again by police and restrained until he arrived at the hospital.
