Kingsland, GA : 4 killed in crash on Georgia 40 in Kingsland on Tuesday, 3rd December, 2019

One child and three adults were killed in a head-on crash Tuesday afternoon on Georgia 40 in Kingsland, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

A Nissan Altima with three adults and two children inside was headed down the highway near Mariners Landing at 1:10 p.m. when the crash occurred, Trooper Brian Edwards said. Witnesses said the Altima speeding erratically when it crossed the median just south of a shopping center and narrowly avoided hitting another car in the oncoming lane.

Then it hit a Ford F250 pickup truck head-on, Edwards said.

“One guy jumped the curb to avoid it, and a second one never saw it coming,” the trooper said.
