Hugo, MN : 35-year-old City Center woman died, two people injured after a head-on crash on Highway 61 in Hugo on Sunday evening, June 21, 2015

A crash Sunday night in Hugo killed a 35-year-old Center City woman.

Mary L. Patterson was driving a 1997 Dodge Stratus north on U.S. 61 near 159th Street North when the car collided head-on with a southbound 1998 Ford Ranger shortly after 10 p.m. Patterson was killed in the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The State Patrol listed the driver of the Ford as Mcklane R. Sanders, 18, of Lexington, Minn. He sustained injuries that weren't life-threatening, the state patrol said.

A passenger in the Ford, 18-year-old Mark A. Napier of Circle Pines, was unharmed.

All three people in the crash were wearing seatbelts. No alcohol was detected in Sanders' system, the state patrol's report said.
