CANTON, MO : Iowa man injured in motorcycle crash north of Canton on Saturday, August 19, 2017

A 51-year-old Coralville, Iowa, man was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., for treatment of moderate injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash Saturday morning six miles north of Canton.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2017 Yamaha motorcycle driven by James L. Roberts was heading south on U.S. 61 at 10:30 a.m., when it left the road into the median and overturned. Roberts was ejected.

Assisting at the scene were the Lewis County Ambulance and Canton Fire and Rescue.
