Longmont, CO : Coroner identifies motorcyclist killed in crash in Longmont on Thursday, 11th July 2019

A motorcyclist who died in a crash Thursday in Longmont has been identified by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office as 41-year-old Steven Lucero.

Lucero was riding east on Boston Avenue at 1:05 p.m. Thursday when he collided in the street with a flatbed truck pulling out of Colorado Materials, 1541 Boston Ave., heading west on Boston, according to Longmont police.

A passerby tried to resuscitate him, but Lucero was transported to Longmont United Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The truck driver was not injured.
