TUCSON, AZ : Fatal crash closes SR 80 near Bisbee on Thursday, 13th June 2024

Two women were killed in a head-on crash on SR 80 near Bisbee on Thursday, June 13.

Arizona DPS confirmed Josie Rivera, 82, and Carla Glines, 68, died and were from Benson.

DPS said the women were riding in a KIA Optima when it swerved into the oncoming lane and hit a Silverado pickup. That truck then hit a Toyota Camry.

The driver of the Optima, a 45-year-old man, suffered critical injuries. The DPS said he may face charges in connection with the crash.
