MOUNT LAUREL, NJ : One dead in Mt. Laurel highway accident on Thursday, 13th October 2016
A fatal accident on a local highway was the third to claim a life this week in Burlington County.
New Jersey State Police said one person died around 11:30 p.m. Thursday in an accident on southbound Interstate 295 near mile marker 37.
Additional details were not immediately available.
Police said a motorist died around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday in a collision between a sedan and a truck on Springside Road in Westampton. Authorities did not release the name of the victim, who was driving the car.
A Camden woman, 52-year-old Gloria Bautista, was fatally struck around 6:30 a.m. Monday as she tried to walk across Route 70 near Route 73 in Evesham.
State Police said 36 people have died in traffic accidents so far this year in Burlington County, compared to 26 in Camden County and 22 in Gloucester County.
