Oklahoma City, OK : Two men killed after wrecks along Oklahoma highways on Thursday, March 16th 2017

About 5:05 p.m. Thursday, Wilcox was driving a car south on State Highway 78, about one mile south of Durant. Troopers said Wilcox attempted to turn left onto State Highway 70E and was struck by a pickup when he pulled in front of it.

Wilcox was taken to a Durant hospital where he died. The driver of the pickup, David L. Robinson, 62, of Durant, was taken to a Denison, Texas, hospital to be treated for injuries.

Both men were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
