On Hightway 66 two motorcyclists heading west were killed in Linwood City in Ohio (Portage County)

Two motorcyclists were killed Monday afternoon in Portage County when they were struck by a car.

According to the Portage County Sheriff's Department, a car failed to yield while traveling east on Highway 66 in the town of Linwood around 4:45 p.m. and struck a motorcycle heading west, the Stevens Point Journal reported.

Both the motorcycle driver and a passenger were thrown from the cycle. They were pronounced dead at the scene, the newspaper reported.
