Rochester, MN : One dead in one-car crash outside Rochester on Wednesday, November, 1st 2017

One person is dead after a crash this morning west of Rochester, authorities said.

Deputies responded at 11:23 a.m. to the 4900 block of Country Club Road West in Cascade Township, according to a news release from the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office.

They found the driver dead at the scene. Officials believe they've identified the victim, and are working on family notifications.

The Rochester/Olmsted County Forensic Mapping Unit is assisting with the investigation.

More information about the incident will be released Thursday morning, the release says.
