SACRAMENTO, CA : 1 dead, 2 hurt after chain reaction crash along I-80 in Sacramento on Tuesday, 20th August 2024

One person is dead and two others are in the hospital after a chain reaction crash along Interstate 80 in Sacramento.

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the crash happened on eastbound I-80, just west of I-5.

Fire officials said five vehicles were involved, three of which caught fire, and two people were taken to the hospital.
