A 67-year-old man was killed Tuesday morning in a Port St. Lucie crash that involved three cars.

Authorities identified the man as Dennis Wayne Kay, of Port St. Lucie. He died at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

The third driver, identified as David Alexander Cato, Jr., 39, of Fort Pierce, was not hurt, according to an FHP crash report.

The report indicates that Olmeda was driving north on U.S. 1 when she attempted a left turn onto Rio Mar. Kay was driving south on U.S. 1 with Cato following him. Olmeda’s Kia Optima entered directly into the path of Kay’s Oldsmobile minivan, authorities said.
