ORANGE COUNTY, FL : A 21-year-old woman killed in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday, May 27, 2017

The family of a 21-year-old woman killed in a hit-and-run crash wants the driver responsible to come forward.

"It's like they tore a piece of my heart out," Ana Irizarry said through tears Saturday afternoon. "She was my baby...anybody who knows anything, please come forward."

Irizarry's daughter, Jessica Esteras was found dead early Friday morning near Hoffner Avenue and Redditt Road.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, she'd been hit by a vehicle, and pieces of the side mirror were found at the scene.

Irizarry tells WESH 2 News her daughter lives near the spot where she was killed.

Irizarry said Esteras had an argument with her boyfriend and went outside to cool off and take a walk.

"When he came out to find her, she was gone," Irizarry said. "It's not fair, she was just starting her life. She was full of dreams and aspirations."

Deputies believe the suspect was driving a Chevy and are asking anyone with information to call FHP at 407-737-2313.
