LASHMEET, WV : 16-year-old dead in Lashmeet crash; six others injured on Tuesday, 18th September 2018

A 16-year-old girl is dead as a result of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday night near Lashmeet, officials said Wednesday morning. Six other individuals were hurt in the crash.

West Virginia State Police Sgt. A.P. Christian said the victim was a passenger in a Ford Escape driven by Justin Akers, 19, who was traveling north on Route 10.
