CONCORD, NY : 1 person killed in crash on Route 219 in Concord on Thursday, 25th April 2019

The Erie County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash in Concord.

The crash occurred Thursday morning around 8:05 on the southbound lanes of Route 219 near Genesee Rd.

Deputies say the vehicle left the lanes and hit a bridge support for the Genesee Rd. overpass.

Because of the crash, officials closed down the southbound lanes of Route 219 in that area.

The sole occupant of the vehicle was killed. Their name has not been released, but deputies say they were not a local resident.
