Motorcyclist in hospital after what was supposed to be a fatal accident

A motorcyclist in critical condition after being in a almost fatal accident. The witness says he was riding with his friend when he and the friend were cut off by a 2013 Ford Mustang GT who had run a red light. The victim was riding a black 2012 Yamaha R1 and the witness riding a 2005 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. The ZX-10R swerved out of the way missing the Mustang by 2-3 inches and the victim couldn't react fast enough hitting the back of the mustang flying over the handle bars and sliding about 30 feet. The witness says that his friend is now in the hospital with critical injuries and probably won't ever be able to ride again. "It sucks. My friend is probably one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and now because some guy wasn't paying attention he is in the hospital fighting for his life." He asks that everyone send some positive support and prayers to his best friend. He also asks that I keep the names private due to personal reasons. This is one of the unfortunate accidents where someone wasn't wasn't paying attention and it could very well cause someone their life.
