SMITHFIELD, NY : Single-car crash on central NY road kills 1, hurts 2 on Friday, 28th September 2018

New York State Police say one person was killed and two have been injured in a single-vehicle crash in upstate New York.Troopers say 18-year-old Miller Wade was driving in Smithfield in Madison County when he drove off the shoulder and crashed into a tree. Police say a passenger, 23-year-old Trevor Rice of Oneida, was pronounced dead at the scene.
