Tulsa, OK : Victim in grave condition after hit-and-run auto-pedestrian crash on Sunday, September 10, 2017

Police are looking for the driver of a sport utility vehicle that struck a man crossing the road early Sunday in south Tulsa.

About 2:30 a.m., the white or silver vehicle struck a man using a crosswalk in the area of 5100 S. Lewis Ave. The driver then fled the scene, police said.

Witnesses told police the vehicle was traveling at "full speed" and didn't attempt to stop before it struck the man, who was hospitalized with "severe injuries" and is in grave condition.

Police found the SUV a few blocks from the collision scene. A K9 searched for the driver, but didn't find them.
