Hempstead ,NY : One person dead in Hempstead Turnpike crash on Long Island Monday night ,july 20th 2015

Nassau County police say a person has died in a two-vehicle crash on the Hempstead Turnpike.

The wreck happened around 11:40 p.m. Monday in East Meadow.

Traffic disruptions continued early Tuesday morning as police investigated.
