1 killed in crash near Bunkerville Nevada

One person was killed in a crash near Bunkerville on Wednesday morning.The single-car crash happened about 6:15 a.m. on state Highway 170.Trooper Jeremie Elliott, of the Nevada Highway Patrol, said the vehicle rolled over into a ravine. He said the driver was thrown from the vehicle when it flipped.Elliott said a passer-by stopped and performed CPR on the injured driver. He said the driver was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died.The identity of the victim was not immediately released.Elliott said Highway 170 was closed in both directions while an investigation into the cause of the crash is conducted.
