BETHLEHEM TWP., PA : 1 killed in fiery crash on Freemansburg Ave. in Bethlehem Township on Friday, 25th September, 2020

A fatal crash shut down a road in Bethlehem Township, Northampton County for hours Friday morning.

Around 4 a.m., a vehicle headed west on Freemansburg Avenue went off the road, rolled, hit a tree and caught fire, said township police Chief Dan Pancoast.

It happened near the intersection with Farmersville Road.

The driver was killed, and the county coroner was called to the scene, police said.
