CLAYTON, NC : Car crashes into Clayton home on Government Road near Big Pine Road on Monday, 19th October, 2020

A car crashed into a Clayton home Monday morning.

The crash occurred before 6:45 a.m. on Government Road near Big Pine Road. The driver missed a stop sign, went through an intersection and plowed into the home's front porch.

Since the car hit the foundation of the porch, a tow truck would not immediately remove the car.

No one was injured inside the home. The condition of the driver was unknown.
