CLINTON, SC : I-26 in Laurens County back open after crash shut down eastbound lanes on Thursday, 9th August 2018

Troopers are now telling us that I-26 East near mile marker 56 is back open.

Troopers said both eastbound lanes of I-26 East were blocked near mile marker 56 due to a crash Thursday morning.

Troopers said eastbound traffic was being detoured at Exit 54.

Drivers can turn right onto Highway 56 and then left onto Highway 72 to return to the interstate.

According to the SCHP website the crash occurred just after 10 a.m.
