Leesburg, FL : 64-year-old man died in hit-and-run crash in Lake County on Thursday night, Sep 24, 2015

A 64-year-old man killed in a hit-and-run crash in Lake County Thursday night, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.

At about 8:30 p.m., troopers responded to the crash on South Haines Creek Road and Northern Avenue
where they found the unidentified man lying on the road. He died at the scene.

Troopers do not have a description of the vehicle.

They did not say what may have led to the crash.
