Longview, TX : Woman involved in McCann Road wreck on Thursday, November, 30th 2017

A Longview woman has died after suffering injuries in a wreck Monday on McCann Road, police said Thursday.

Maria Jovana Canchola, 22, sustained the fatal injuries after pulling out of the Longview Mall parking lot when she turned in front of a truck driven by Justin Mitchell Stevens, 31, of Winona, according to Longview police.

Stevens collided with Canchola's driver's side door after she attempted to turn left into the intersection at McCann Road and ran a red light, according to police.

She was taken to Christus Good Shepherd Health System Medical Center, where she died from her injuries.
