Anne Arundel County Police say an Odenton man is facing drunken driving charges after he crashed a car through the front door of a Crofton home.
Police officers called to the home on Salford Drive early Wednesday found a Chevrolet Cruze plowed through the front door, but police say the driver couldn't be found. The car was removed and fire officials determined that the building was structurally sound.
After receiving a call reporting a stolen vehicle, officers met the caller nearby. Police say officers determined that that the caller was the driver of the car that hit the house and he was under the influence of alcohol. The man, identified as 21-year-old James Johnson of Odenton, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
