ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FL : 36-year-old Pensacola man dies in motorcycle crash in Escambia County on Sunday, 17th November 2024

A 36-year-old Pensacola man is dead after a crash in Escambia County on Sunday, according to FHP.

Troopers say the crash occurred around 3:10 p.m. when a 77-year-old Pensacola man driving an SUV was traveling westbound in the left turn lane on US Highway 90, while the 36-year-old man was driving a motorcycle eastbound in the outside lane on Nine Mile Road east of I-10.

According to FHP, the 77-year-old man failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle while making a left turn, causing the SUV to collide with the right side of the motorcycle.

The 77-year-old man suffered minor injuries, according to FHP.
