Copiah County, MS : 18-Wheeler leaves roadway, and crashes on I-55 in Copiah County on Thursday, 30th May 2019

Mississippi State Police say the crash happened this evening around 6:40 on Interstate 55, near Gallman, Mississippi, in Copiah County.Cpl. Kervin Stewart of MHP says the crash happened after the work truck went airborne off an overpass on to I-55 below. The driver of the truck was taken to UMMC, and is in stable condition.
Stewart says two tow trucks were on the scene to remove the damaged vehicle.
Traffic is not affected by the crash.
