Oxnard ,CA :17-year-old killed after hit-and-run crash near intersection of Dollie Street on Sunday Morning ,August 30th 2015

Oxnard police said Monday evening that the 17-year-old victim of a hit-and-run crash has died.

The crash was reported about 9:55 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Dollie Street and Petit Drive, officials said.

The victim was found unconscious in the roadway with significant head trauma when police and emergency services personnel arrived at the scene.

The teen was taken to Ventura County Medical Center. Authorities said they were told on Monday evening that the teen had died.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the car
