NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA, FL : Motorcyclist killed on U.S. 17 in Nassau County on Saturday, 27th January 2024

A Fernandina Beach man is dead after striking a truck on U.S. 17 at approximately 6:04 a.m., according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

The report said a motorcycle driven by a 63-year-old Fernandina Beach man was traveling northbound on U.S. 17 near Quail Ridge Road.

A pickup truck driven by a Yulee man was attempting to turn left from Quail Ridge Road when the motorcycle impacted the left rear passenger door of the truck and the rider was ejected, troopers said.
