Hannibal, MO : Three Hannibal teens injured in crash on Sunday, March 12th 2017

Melody L. Christal, 16, and her two passengers, all of Hannibal, Mo., suffered moderate injuries in a one-car crash at 3:25 p.m. Sunday, March 12, in rural Marion County, Mo. Also injured were Lucas Richards, 15; and Jaiden E. Salyer, 14.
Christal and Salyer were transported by Marion County ambulances to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. Richards was flown to the University Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Christal was driving a 2005 Hyundai on Marion County Road 413 east of Palmyra, when she lost control of the car.
Officers said the car hit a utility pole and overturned multiple times. Christal and Salyer were wearing seat belts. It was unknown if Richards was using a safety device.
The Marion County Sheriff's Department and Hannibal Fire Department assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
