Weatherford, TX : Basketball team in school bus crash on FM 51 south of Weatherford on Saturday, 1st December 2018

A school bus carrying Bridgeport ninth-grade girls returning from the Granbury basketball tournament Saturday night was involved in a crash on FM 51 south of Weatherford. A coach and several girls were being taken to a Fort Worth hospital as a precaution, school officials said. Granbury High School Principal Jeremy Ross was returning from a trip to Weatherford and was the first person on the scene, school officials said. He call 911 and helped get the girls out of the bus.
