BEULAH, CO : 3 killed in crash, vehicle fire near Beulah on Sunday, 26th November 2023
State troopers are continuing to investigate after three people were killed in fiery car crash outside of Beulah.
A spokesperson for Colorado State Patrol says the car was traveling westbound on Highway 78 on the afternoon of Nov. 21 when something caused the driver to run off the road. After traveling about 400 feet, the vehicle crashed into a tree, then spun out into a fence. The car then burst into flames. Everyone inside was killed.
At the time of this writing, the occupants have not been publicly identified, and State Patrol was unable to confirm genders or ages.
State Patrol tells 11 News drugs and alcohol are not suspected but troopers are still trying to figure out why the driver went off the roadway. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
