RACINE, WI : Two injured in crash at 16th and South Memorial on Monday, March 6th 2017

A two-car crash was reported Monday night at the corner of 16th Street and South Memorial Drive. The crash was reported at 7:40 p.m. Police believe the vehicles were heading in opposite directions on Memorial Drive when one may have disregarded a traffic signal.

Both vehicles — a late-model sedan and an SUV — sustained heavy front-end damage, and both drivers were transported to the hospital. Memorial was reopened to traffic at 8:50 p.m.
