Winona, MN : Two people injured in a car accident in downtown Winona on Monday night, January 19, 2015

Two people were injured Monday night in a car accident in downtown Winona.

Amy Runck, 44, of Winona, was westbound on 5th Street at about 7:30 p.m. when her car collided with one driven by Brian Mattison, 72, of Buffalo City, Wis. Mattison was northbound on Main Street, according to the Minnesota State Patrol incident report.

Both parties suffered non-life threatening injuries, but the incident report only lists Mattison as receiving medical treatment. He was treated at Winona Health.

The Winona Police Department assisted at the scene.
