Huntsville, AL : 92-year-old driver crashes into Huntsville church Wednesday morning on September 17, 2014

A Huntsville woman is shaken up but otherwise fine after crashing into Hope Community Church at 1111 Pulaski Pike. Church officials said the 92-year-old woman was parking in front of the church Wednesday morning and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake. The car went through the exterior wall next to the front door. The woman, who is an assistant pastor, went to the hospital to be checked out. Officials said she was fine but wanted to make sure she was OK because of her age. She was soon released. No one else was injured. The church is still open regular hours.
