Milwaukee, WI : Driver found dead in car after earlier hit-and-run crash on Friday, August 29, 2014

The driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run on Friday was found dead in his car after he lost control and went off the road near N. 31st St. and W. Hope Ave. on Milwaukee's north side, police said on Saturday. Police are investigating whether another man, possibly associated with the other vehicle in the hit-and-run four blocks away, may have shot at the driver at the crash scene. No one is in custody, they said. Police have not released the identity or age of the victim. According to police, a passing motorist reported a vehicle off the road just before 11 p.m. on Friday night and went to a nearby firehouse for house for help.
