BELL COUNTY, TX : Two killed in crash west of Belton on Monday, 25th September 2023

Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the two drivers who died in a crash early Monday morning on Farm to Market 493 in Bell County.

DPS identified the drivers as 30-year-old Macayla Meshell Bartek and 46-year-old Lance Scott Jerome Walker.

According to DPS, around 4:15 a.m., Meshell was traveling west in a Chevrolet truck on FM 439. The department says Walker was traveling eastbound on the same road when the two cars collided head-on.
