Cheyenne, WY : Ex-Wyoming Attorney General injured in two-vehicle crash south of Torrington on Friday evening, December 9, 2016
Former Wyoming Attorney General Patrick Crank has been injured in a two-vehicle crash south of Torrington.
The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports that Crank was airlifted to a Denver-area hospital after the Friday evening crash on U.S. Highway 85.
According to Wyoming Highway Patrol, Crank was northbound on U.S. 85 when he crashed into the rear of a pickup truck that was stopped in the lane.
Highway Patrol spokesman Sgt. David Wagener says he does not know the extent of Crank’s injuries but that they appear to not be life threatening. The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash.
Crank served as the Wyoming attorney general from 2002 to 2007 under former Gov. Dave Freudenthal.
