Tallahassee, FL : 2 injured in 5-car crash on I-95 in Martin on Saturday, May 27, 2017

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office advised motorists to avoid I-95 following the evening crash that closed all southbound lanes. Traffic in both directions will be experiencing heavy delays for hours, according to a tweet.

UPDATE: 9:49 p.m. A Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said the crash involved five vehicles and resulted in two people being transported by ground to a local hospital. No one was transported by air rescue as originally thought.

Sgt. Mark Wysocky said tow trucks are on the way to the scene to move the vehicles, and they hope to have at least one lane of traffic open within the next 30 minutes.
