Columbia, SC : One person is dead following a crash on Tuesday, August 15, 2017

One person is dead following a crash at the Rowan/Stanly County line.

Highway Patrol communications says the wreck happened on Highway 49.

There's no word on how many vehicles were involved.

No names have been released. The crash remains under investigation.
