BUFFALO, NY : 17-year-old hit by City of Buffalo garbage truck on Rhode Island Street near 14th Street on Tuesday, 1st October 2024

Buffalo Police are investigating an accident scene involving a City of Buffalo garbage truck, located on Rhode Island Street near 14th Street.

In an update, a City of Buffalo official said that the accident occurred just before 8:30 a.m.

Central District officers reported that a city garbage truck had been backing up when it hit a 17-year-old boy.
