DELRAY BEACH, FL : Motorcyclist, 37, killed in suburban Delray Beach wreck on April, Friday 7th 2017

A 37-year-old motorcyclist was killed late Friday after his bike slammed into a car, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.

Guilherme Barreto was riding west on Atlantic Avenue on a 2013 Ducati motorcycle at about 10 p.m. Friday when a 2003 four-door Nissan turned left onto Sims Road in front of him.

The Delray Beach man was thrown from the bike, slid across the hood of the car and landed on the pavement, sheriff’s officials said.

The driver, 20-year-old Georgie Rose Milca Benjamin, also of Delray Beach, sustained minor injuries in the wreck. It is unclear whether he will face charges.
