OGLE COUNTY, IL : 2 Rockford men killed in Ogle County crash on Interstate 39 in northern on Monday, 1st July 2019

Two Rockford men were killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday on Interstate 39 in northern Ogle County, Illinois State Police said.

The driver of a 2007 Toyota Camry was heading north at milepost 112 when he lost control of his car, crossed the center median and was hit by a southbound semitrailer, according to police.

The driver of the Camry, 50-year-old Moo Ler, and a passenger, Leonardo Lozano, 51, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Ogle County coroner.

The truck driver, Kenneth Miller, 51, of Owensboro, Kentucky, was not injured.
