Authorities say three people have died in a crash on Interstate 20 in east Georgia.
Warren County Emergency Management Agency Director Tommy Wolfe says the one-vehicle wreck happened near the Taliaferro County line.
The Augusta Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/1gdXFOS) that the crash happened early Sunday morning, when a Scion left the interstate and wrapped around a tree, ripping the car in half.
The names of those killed were not immediately released, as authorities were working to notify their family members on Sunday.
The site of the crash is about 50 miles west of Augusta.
